Red Revolution Radio: Palestinian Liberation: Addameer Panel – August 11, 2018

During the 2018 Native Liberation Conference, held in Albuquerque NM, we spoke to Adameer representatives about their work on Palestine. We asked them what liberation meant to them and the importance of international solidarity.

ADDAMEER (Arabic for conscience) Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association is a Palestinian non-governmental, civil institution that works to support Palestinian political prisoners held in Israeli and Palestinian prisons. Established in 1992 by a group of activists interested in human rights, the center offers free legal aid to political prisoners, advocates their rights at the national and international level, and works to end torture and other violations of prisoners’ rights through monitoring, legal procedures and solidarity campaigns.

Last year’s Native Liberation Conference focuses on global solidarity and decolonization in the heart of empire, bringing together Native, Black, undocumented, and Palestinian organizers. In this time of terrible danger, we must work together to build a better world — the future of the planet is at stake.
