Celebrate Resistance Not Conquest!
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Red Nation calls on all dispossessed, Indigenous, and oppressed people to march and rally for Indigenous Peoples Day on October 8, 2018, a day nationally celebrated as Columbus Day, and celebrate continued Indigenous resistance against settler colonialism and capitalism.
WHAT: March & Rally for Indigenous Peoples Day and Continued Celebration of Indigenous Resistance.
WHO: The Red Nation, Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), Free Access to Movements (FAM), NM Dream Team, All African People’s Revolutionary Party-NM, Kiva Club, and individual community allies. Speakers will be announced.
WHEN: Monday, October 8, 2018 at 5:30 p.m.
WHERE: Intersection of First St. SW & Central Ave. NW, Albuquerque, N.M. at 5:30 p.m. with a march to Civic Center Plaza, intersection of Third St. NW and Marquette Ave. NW, for a rally with speakers.
Join The Red Nation as we celebrate major victories towards collective liberation and rally for future victories against settler colonialism, extractive industries, racism, capitalism, and imperialism. Abolish I.C.E. and Protect Greater Chaco! We will win liberation for all peoples across all borders and create international solidarity because no one is free until we are all free.
